PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:

The LQF produces the quarter fold by forcing the signature in toward its center, producing a buckle in the signature. As more of the signature is forced in toward its center, the buckle grows and is fed into converging belts which flatten and crease the signature forming the fold.
